A major goal for most Fine Artists is to have our work featured in a Gallery. I’ve had my work featured in a couple, one in Richmond, CA and also in Vallejo, CA, but it’s not a priority to me these days.
Most of the Galleries are in trouble. With the economic downturn it’s tougher for many of them to keep their doors open.
That is not to say I won’t appear in a Gallery again in the future. I will if the right opportunity comes along.
Being a part of the Artist Guild of San Francisco, we don’t have the overhead to be concerned about. Our biggest setback is the weather because if it rains or if it’s too windy a show will be cancelled.
