I’ve been showing with the Artist Guild in front of the DeYoung Museum for the past couple of years.
Of course we love the museum for its art, but it’s also the location of the nearest and nicest bathroom!
….
Anyway, on one such trip to the restroom I noticed a long crack in the ground that starts at the entrance of the museum. I thought it was caused by the big earthquake we had years back, but it turns out that this crack is a work of art created by Andy Goldsworthy. He calls it “Faultline”.
The crack goes strategically through some boulders— check it out the next time you’re at DeYoung. (Click on the image for a full article).
