Marc Richards, a talented Bay Area Caricaturist, recently passed away.
Most of the Caricature Artists have met him because the field of working Artists is a small network. All of us eventually cross paths. Here is the note sent out by his wife:
“It is with great sadness and disbelief that my beloved Marc passed away on Saturday, January 30th. He was my best friend of almost 29 years and will always be part of me. He loved being with all of you, even through his illness, he cherished the times he could see you, to laugh and joke and share what he loved most. He expressed his wishes to my daughter, that he be cremated and did not want a service. My only consolation is, that his suffering is finally over and he is at peace. We all loved him so much and will miss him forever. I ask of you to share this news with other artists, as I do not have all the email addresses.”
